Ryan Villopoto raced to his sixth AMA Supercross victory in the first 11 rounds of the season Saturday night, holding off Justin Brayton in front of 59,872 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium.
"This was by far the hardest track of the season," said Villopoto, the Kawasaki star from Poulsbo, Wash. "It was slick out there, and I had to be on my game. It was tough to make passes on this track."
Earlier, Suzuki's Blake Wharton, from Pilot Point, Texas, raced to his first Eastern Regional Supercross Lites victory of the season.
"I am very thankful to everyone that got me here," Wharton said.
